Provide a mechanism to migrate a repository from GitHub

I have some repositories on GitHub and because of the recent security issues there I'd like to migrate the to GitEnterprise. How can I do that?

If you need to migrate a single repository, you can do so simply following the instruction you find under the "Migrate" tab on the repository administration page.

We are also working on a full end-to-end migration for GitHub, so please stay tuned :)

The cloning repository feature in the repositories management page is confusing with the git clone operation

Maybe rename it to "make a copy of an existing repository" or "duplicate" otherwise it is confused with the git clone operation

When creating a repository, it's easy to double POST. I would deactivate the button using javascript after the initial press.

Subject captures it well.

Either dsa or rsa should be fine, so basically a plain old cut&paste of ~/.ssh/id_dsa.pub or ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub should do the trick. The fix for this specific issue is now planned (GITENT-503)

This is already planned (GITENT-506), but I am afraid to say that's quite late in the plan. However, if this idea will receive more votes, we will certainly push it ahead. So... get some people to GitEnterprise and ask them to vote this idea :)

Please clarify the relationship between username, full name and email

Have a limited project management syatem like unfuddle and codaset makes you number 1

I believe that you have the best free git service on the web and I think if you add a (limited) project management to your services then there is no reason to using other free git services for users. many many thanks for your awesome free...

From what I can see, it looks like we have a bug, I think you have a repository in the trashbin (not fully deleted) that still reference that user: for that reason you cannot remove it from the domain..
