Displaying of Non-latin chars

I've recently pushed some files containing cyrillic letters in utf-8 encoding. Now when I browse my repository I see '?' instead of every cyrillic letter.

The same issue for commit messages.

It looks like multibyte chars are properly recognized as multibyte (because the number of '?'-s exactly corresponds to the number of cyrillic chars), but non-latin chars are not displayed for some reason.

Can this be fixed somehow?
